Dr. Yamauchi earned his BS in biochemistry at the University of California at Los Angeles, his PhD in biologic chemistry at the University of California at Santa Barbara, and his MD at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland. He completed his residency in dermatology at and a cosmetic surgery fellowship affiliated with UCLA School of Medicine.

Dr. Yamauchi has spoken at several national and regional meetings on cosmetic dermatology. He has in soft tissue fillers such as Evolence®, Restylane®, Hylaform®, Sculptra®, and fat transfer. He has given several talks on new indications for Botox. In addition, he has spoken on advances in laser treatment such as laser hair removal and combination therapy using ablative laser with Botox. Dr. Yamauchi has written several articles on the use of Botox for rejuvenation and other indications as well as advances in laser treatment such as the Rytec laser. He has conducted several clinical trials on Botox, new advancements in filler agents, and innovative lasers for rejuvenation and skin tightening.
Dr. Yamauchi conducts numerous clinical research trials at Clinical Research Specialists in Santa Monica. He serves as a in several studies including new therapies for psoriasis, skin cancer, eczema and acne.
and has extensive experience using the new biologics in the treatment of psoriasis, and has been invited as a speaker at national, regional, and local venues to talk about new advances in the treatment of psoriasis. In addition, he is a strong advocate in establishing patient support groups for psoriasis. Dr. Yamauchi has published extensively in new advances in the treatment of psoriasis.
